ABOUT 10 - THE DINNER:

Marking a milestone in the organization’s history and highlighting one of the most exciting times to date in the world of young adult oncology, 10 - THE DINNER will celebrate 10 rewarding years of changing challenges into triumphs for young adult cancer survivors and their families and pay tribute to Doug and the Ulman Family – Diana Ulman, Lou Ulman, Ken Ulman and Jaki Ulman.

A three-time cancer survivor, Doug Ulman’s journey to make an impact in the cancer community began in 1997 when he and his family established the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults. The organization annually serves thousands of young adults affected by cancer and remains a pioneer in the young adult cancer advocacy movement.

Doug is now the President of the Lance Armstrong Foundation, where he leads a team of over fifty employees, many of whom are survivors themselves. His most recent achievement was the development of the LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance, which is bringing national attention to the stagnant rates of young adult cancer survival statistics and the critical need for more research in the treatment of young people afflicted with this disease.

10 - THE DINNER will feature a cocktail reception, with a private VIP area for top sponsors, seated dinner, complimentary bar, and live and silent auctions. Lance Armstrong will honor 10 champions of the cancer community, make personal remarks about his own and Doug Ulman’s triumphs, and facilitate a powerful program recognizing young adult cancer survivors served by the Ulman Cancer Fund.

Sponsorships and limited tickets are available for 10 - THE DINNER.

Contact Tessa Goldscher at 410.964.0202 ext. 103 or tessa@ulmanfund.org for more information on how your organization can help young adults affected by cancer.
